After a pretty disappointing tour in South Africa, the India cricket team will be pleased with the effort that they put in during the ODI series against the West Indies and now the T20 cricket series against the same team. They now hold a 2-0 lead in the three-match series, but this does not make this final game a dead rubber because the T20 World Cup is later this year, and every match is good practice for this marquee event. Will India make it six wins in a row against the West Indies, or will the latter final get a positive result on their tour of India? Find out our prediction below.

India Team Preview

India have an unassailable lead in the series and will be very pleased with how they have played so far. Their captain, Rohit Sharma, has been great and his players look like they enjoy playing under him. There will be a couple of areas that India will look to improve on in this final match, and they have already indicated that this is what they are going to do.

Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli are likely to sit out of this match, which means that we will probably get to see Ruturaj Gaikwad in action. He will probably open the batting alongside Sharma, while Ishan Kishan will probably bat a bit lower down the order. We also think that Shreyas Iyer will come in and bat at number three, occupying the tole that Kohli played very well in during the second game.

Even though India have had a lot of positives, here are a couple of gaps that they will be looking to plug. Kishan was added to the team to get his side off to a flier, but that move has not gone to plan so far. This meant that Sharma has had to take more risks, meaning that India have lost a couple of cheap wickets at the top of the order.

If you are looking to do a spot of online cricket betting and want to bet on a player to be the Top Batsman for India, then we would recommend that you think about putting your money on Kishan. Yes, we know he has struggled a bit in the first two games, but we think he will prosper further down the order and will get a good score in this next match.

When it comes to their bowling, India will be pretty content with the way that Ravi Bishnoi and Yuzvendra Chahal have bowled during the middle overs in the last two games. They were both used very intelligently by Sharma, and they can both definitely cause the West Indies plenty of trouble in the final match of the series. We reckon India will want to give Avesh Khan a shot to show us what talent he has, so we think that Bhuveneshwar Kumar will sit out of this game.

If you are going to be betting on cricket betting sites and want something interesting to bet on, then we suggest that you take a look at the top bowler market. So, who would we put our money on? Well, Bishnoi has bowled really well in both games, so we reckon that he is worth a shot.

West Indies Team Preview

West Indies left for India on the back of a great 3-2 win against England, although it must be said it was a very depleted England side, with many of their big guns missing. Nevertheless, they will be disappointed with their showings so far, and will probably be the first ones to admit that they have been a bit circumspect while batting - this is very uncharacteristic of them.

Despite the defeat in their previous game, the West Indies have plenty of positives to take from the match. They are yet to win while in India, but they got very close in the last match. They looked liked they were going to win the game at one stage, but then Kumar got rid of Nicholas Pooran and the tables turned.

Given the way that the West Indies usually approach their batting, it has been a bit surprising to see the way that Roston Chases and Akeal Hosein have batted. In the first match, they got rid of all of the momentum that the West Indies had, and in the second match we watched a similar thing happen in the powerplay as the batsmen managed to score just 41 runs while chasing 187.

When it comes to their bowling, the West Indies just did not get it right when it came to their death bowling. Their bowlers bowled really well in the fist half of their innings, but they lost control when the dew started to take its toll. Using Odean Smith was a questionable decision in the first game, since he is not used to bowling in the powerplay. Also, in our opinion, he bats a bit too slow for someone who can hit the ball miles on his day.

Chase was, once again, the pick of the West Indies bowlers, so if you are thinking about making a cricket match prediction and want to bet on the best West Indian bowler, then we would recommend that you put your money on Chase.

Toss Prediction

In both of the matches to date, the winning captain has decided to choose to field first when winning the coin toss, and this is what we think will happen this time around too. The main reason for this is that there is often dew in the second half of the innings, and this can have a big impact on the effectiveness of the bowlers.

Pitch and Conditions

Once again, the weather forecast is set to be good, so there should not be any unwanted delays. There were quite a number of runs scored in the second game, but it was not a complete graveyard for the bowlers. So, we are expecting a pitch that will have something in it for both the batsmen and the bowlers. If the team that bats first can score somewhere in the region of 180, then they should be happy.

Our Match Prediction

After a poor World Cup showing, the Indian team have been experimenting a little in all departments and it has worked well so far. They have won their last five games and will definitely be brimming with confidence. The West Indies, on the other hand, promised a lot but delivered very little, despite the fact that they are a very capable team, especially in this format of the game. When we take the first two matches into consideration, there seems like there will only be one winner, and our prediction of who will win is India.

Our match prediction: India to win.
