India are officially out of the 2021 T20 World Cup, so this final game of Group B is a dead rubber. There is no significance to this match, outside of some online cricket betting for particular players. For India, it is all about getting this competition over and done with. Namibia have picked up one win against Scotland, but they would love to add India to that list. Who do we think will go on to win this game? Well, keep on reading this match prediction and you will soon find out.

India Team Preview

India lost their two most important matches in this group against Pakistan and New Zealand, so they had to hope for Afghanistan to give them a lifeline. However, that lifeline did not happen, and India are now out of the competition at the Super 12s stage, which is something that nobody expected when the tournament started. This will be Virat Kohli's last match as T20 captain and they might look to blood some of their youngsters in this game. Or, maybe the team will treat this game as a send-off for their senior players and not make too many changes.

The battling department should remain pretty much the same, and this will mean giving another chance for Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli to get some runs. When it comes to the batting betting markets, you should look at Sharma and Rahul to score heavily. You should also consider putting some money on India getting the most runs during the Powerplay and scoring the most sixes.

India's bowling unit has been very poor in this competition, but it should be more than enough to get by an average Namibia team. India rolled the Scots over on this surface, and we think that they will pretty much do the same in this match. We think that Rahul Chahar will play this game instead of Varun Chakravarthy, who has been really disappointing.

Namibia Team Preview

Namibia are developing as a cricketing nation, but they are definitely not in the same league as this India team. They did well to qualify for this stage of the competition and to be beat Scotland, but they really do not have a chance of beating India. There is a total lack of batting depth in their side, with only the likes of David Weise, Gerhard Erasmus and Michael van Lingen showing any type of promise.

Their bowling attack is not very strong either, so we do not expect them to cause the Indian batsmen any issues. We would not recommend that you put money on the Nambian bowlers in this game.

Toss Prediction

The captain that wins the coin toss will more than likely opt to bowl first. This has been a big advantage in this competition, but even if Namibia win and bowl first, it will not be enough for them to pull off a huge upset.

Pitch Conditions

The conditions will be good for batting. There will more than likely be some dew form in the second innings, which will make it easier to bat and harder to bowl. Therefore, the team that bats first in this match will need to score around 170 if they want to be competitive. although, if India bat first and score about 150, we cannot see Namibia chasing that total down.

Our Match Prediction

There really should only be one winner in this match, and that is obviously India. You will not find any value in backing an India win, but we do not recommend that you chase the odds and put some money on a Namibia upset. If you do this, all that you will be doing is throwing your money down the drain.
