We have reached the final of the Cricket World Cup, and only India and Australia have their dreams of world domination intact. This final game will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19th, with a start time of 08:30 GMT. This should be a great game between two very talented teams, but who will come out on top? You can find out by checking out my predictions below. Additionally, you can find the cricket betting sites that are highly recommended for cricket bettors in the UK.

💯 India v Australia Betting Odds

Before you go ahead and do any kind of cricket online betting on this final, I recommend that you take the time to have a look at the betting odds that are being offered for some top markets.

Match Winner Odds: India vs Australia

India have won all ten matches that they have played at this World Cup, so you should not be too surprised to see them down as the favourites to win the title. Australia have won seven matches in a row, so their odds are not too far off.

Top Batsman Odds: India v Australia

The top batsman market provides plenty of excitement since you have to choose one player from the team who you think will go on to score the highest number of runs. When your decision has been made, you can then cheer on every run that they score. When you consider how well some of the Indian and Australian batsmen have been playing, it is not an easy pick, but below are three candidates from each team and their top batsman odds:

Top Wicket Taker Odds: India v Australia

If you do not know which batter to put your hard-earned money on, you might want to think about trying to predict the bowler that will collect the most wickets for their side. This market also offers high levels of excitement because every ball that your selected player bowls becomes more than an event. There are many top wicket taker options for India and Australia, and my three top picks and their top wicket taker odds can be found below:

🔍 India v Australia Match Winner Prediction

After weeks of high entertainment, the two best-performing teams made it to the final, which is the good thing about the format that was used for this competition. It got plenty of stick as it felt drawn out at times, but it made sure that the best teams got through to the knockout stages.

India have been something else throughout this tournament, winning all ten matches in their stride. I do not think that I am exaggerating by saying that this Indian team can be classified as one of the best ODI teams to exist. I have tried to find a weakness, but they do not seem to have any.

Australia lost their first two games of the World Cup, but they did not let that phase them and they have won seven in a row since. They made harder work of a small run chase against South Africa in the semis than they perhaps should have, but the fact that they pushed on and made it to the final highlights their mental fortitude.

This match should be full of top batting and bowling displays due to the talent that both teams have at their disposal. Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli have been a nightmare for bowlers at this World Cup for India, while Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh, and David Warner can be absolutely devastating on their day. Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah will be tasked with keeping the Aussie batters quiet, while Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa are the key bowlers for Australia.

There is not a lot between these two teams, but the bookies have India down as favourites, and I agree with this. They have not put a foot wrong all tournament, and they will be eager not to let down the millions who will be cheering them on.

My India v Australia winner prediction: India to win!

✔️ India v Australia CWC Betting Tips

If you want to bet on this India vs Australia match, then check out some of the CWC betting tips below:

Match Winner: India to Win

These two nations have played a total of 150 ODI matches against each other, so they are no strangers. From these matches, Australia have won 83 of them, while India have won 57. In World Cup events, they have played 13 times, and Australia lead the head-to-head record 8-5. So, the Aussies enter this final knowing that history is with them.

Some teams prefer to do one discipline first over the other, but this Indian team has no preference it seems. This makes them even more dangerous because opposing captains that win the toss might struggle to decide on whether to out them in to bat or bowl first. Even the best sports teams have one weakness usually, but I cannot see any weak links in this Indian team.

The Aussies will be hoping the hopes of a billion people will be weighing heavily on the shoulders of Sharma and his men - they know that second place will still be considered a failed campaign. India might have slightly better form, but Australia have always been really good at absorbing pressure, which could work in their favour if India start to falter under the weight of expectation.

I would back India to win this match, and if you want to put money on it happening, then Spreadex Sports are currently offering odds of 1.44

India's Top Batsman Winner: Virat Kohli to Win

Many opposing fans of India are not big fans of Kohli due to his antics on the field, but when he is batting, he truly is a sight to behold. In the semi-final against New Zealand, he became the first-ever cricket player to manage 50 ODI centuries, overtaking none other than Sachin Tendulkar. In the 10 WC games that he has played, he has scored 711 runs at an average of 101.57.

If you think that Kohli will top score for India, then William Hill are offering odds of 3.50 at the moment.

Australia's Top Batsman Winner: David Warner to Win

Warner is another player who people cannot really warm to outside of Australia, but once again we cannot deny that he is a quality batsman. When Warner is in the groove, there are a few weaknesses to his game. In 10 World Cup games, he has picked up 528 runs at an average of 52.80, and I think he will get a good chunk of runs against India's bowlers.

If you want to put money on Warner to be the top scorer for Australia, then William Hill are offering odds of 4.00.

India's Top Wicket Taker: Mohammed Shami to Win Top Wicket Taker

Mohammed Shami missed the first four matches of the tournament and only got his chance due to an injury to another player. However, he has taken his chance with both hands, picking up 23 wickets with a 9.13 average. Against New Zealand in their semi-final clash, he picked up a total of 7 wickets. He has been bowling extremely well lately, so it was not hard to pick him as the top wicket taker for India.

If you want to back Shami to take the most wickets for India, then there are odds of 3.75 on offer at William Hill.

Australia's Top Wicket Taker: Adam Zampa to Win Top Wicket Taker

Adam Zampa did not pick up any wickets in Australia's semi-final match against South Africa, but everyone is allowed an off day. He has still had a really good World Cup to date, picking up 22 wickets in total at an average of 21.41 - 21 of these wickets have come in 7 matches as in three matches he picked up just one in total. I feel that he can get two or three wickets in this game, which would give him a shot at being Australia's top wicket taker.

Those who want to place a bet on Zampa to be Australia's top wicket taker can find odds of 3.50 available at William Hill.
